Great success had the presentation of the book “Wine in Mexico and its History”, which was developed and edited by Raúl Corona, director of Urban Guides of Baja California, where authorities, winemakers from the region, representatives from academics and civil society attended the event. It was held in a prestigious restaurant of the Cachanilla city, with over 300 special guests present.
In the event there were talks given by personalities of the wine industry, among them was Mr. Reynaldo Rodriguez, Oenologist and Owner of Quinta Monasterio Winery, Agronomist David Bibayoff, Andres Treviño Garza, Founder and Grand Master of the “Cofradía del Vino de Baja California” and Professor Norma Angélica Bailón Cisneros from the School of Enology and Gastronomy of Ensenada who shared various topics on wine.
The book “Wine in Mexico and its History” with over 30,000 copies in its first edition, will be distributed nationally within wine houses, and it aims to be a guide into a tour about history of wine industry in Mexico and the world, information about vintage parties and more, besides providing valuable advice, recommendations and some generalities about wine.
