-Editorial

Victoria Homes, a pillar in Imperial County’s homebuilding sector for over three decades, celebrated the groundbreaking of their latest project, Cambria IV. This new subdivision represents their ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, sustainable, and affordable homes in the region.

This is part of the expansion of this project that has grown through the years giving Imperial County residents a new option of living where memories can be made and dreams can come true.

“It’s dreams that we are building so we have three new floor plans that are coming and it’s ranging from four bedrooms to five bedrooms with a loft,” said Michelle Hollinger from Victoria Homes. “It is satisfying to help somebody fulfill their dream and knowing they will have family outings, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and just life in general.”

Hollinger’s brother, Tory Leslie, grew up watching his father build homes and now they are following that job of building homes for people.

“Just in this project alone we have control of Dogwood so that’s roughly 350 lots plus a commercial site on the corner of Dogwood and Aten,” Leslie said. “I’ve been with my father on the job site wondering how homes were built and I’m now following his footsteps. At the end of the day, I love giving new homeowner their keys.”

Established in 1992, Victoria Homes has developed a stellar reputation through their creation of 12 distinct housing developments, housing over 3,000 families in Imperial County. As a family-operated business, the company prioritizes community values, diligent workmanship, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in each of its projects.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Cambria IV took place at the promising location at the corner of Calle Bernardi and Avenida Legakes, marking another significant milestone in the company’s history. The subdivision is poised to feature a variety of upscale yet accessible housing options, tailored to meet the diverse needs of modern families.

The floor plans available in Cambria IV include:

– Plan 1-A: A 1,454 square foot layout featuring 3 bedrooms and 2½ baths.

– Plan 2-A: This 1,699 square foot house includes 3 bedrooms, 2½ baths with a loft, and an option for a fourth bedroom.

– Plan 3-A: Offering more space at 1,855 square feet, this design includes 4 bedrooms, 3 baths with a loft, and an option for a fifth bedroom.

– Plan 4-A: The largest option at 2,194 square feet, features 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, a loft, and an optional den.

Victoria Homes’ dedication to sustainability is evident in its planning. Each new development, including Cambria IV, is meticulously crafted with eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient designs. “With each project, we dedicate countless hours to ensure that every home is not just built to standards, but that it exceeds expectations and provides a foundation for community and family life,” a company spokesperson shared during the groundbreaking event.

As Imperial continues to grow, Victoria Homes remains at the forefront, providing residences that don’t just offer a place to live, but a place to call home. Cambria IV promises to be a beacon of quality, style, and affordability in the heart of Imperial.
