Foro Eleva 2017 was a success as it attracted several visitors to the two-day event that had a big line-up of interesting speakers and trade show.
On Thursday, October 26, Coparmex inaugurated Foro Evela at Centro Estatal De Las Artes in Mexicali. During the inauguration, Foro Eleva coordinator Ernesto Elourdy said that intent behind starting this expo six years ago is to promote Mexicali and provide a venue for the community to come together and know each other and learn new things to help elevate Mexicali. There were also workshops to help new businesses get strategies to grow and stay open.
“We expect many people to attend this expo these next two days; if those that attend leave with a renewed attitude then we will have a better city on Saturday,” Elorduy stated.
Among the speakers that attended the event was Sergio Sarmiento, Consuelo Duval, Sergio Dipp, Guadalupe Loeza, Diego Fernandez de Ceballos, Eduardo Caccia, among others.
Foro Eleva Mexicali was born as a project to boost and promote Mexicali as a young but dynamic city, where they look to inspire people who seek for ways about how goals can be achieved, working with a vision and love for the city.
This year’s slogan was “The Mexicali We Want.”It is estimated that there was an average attendance of ten thousand visitors, between conference attendees and visitors to the expo area, there was a 100 vendor’s booths for exhibitors of different companies.
