CALEXICO, CA – Pretty in Pink is an annual celebration that brings women of all ages together to cheer on the hope, faith and courage from our local survivors. Lunch from 2GO Salads, fashion show by Dillard’s and local art was enjoyed at the Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center.
More than 100 women, dressed in pink, wearing spectacular hats atop gorgeous gowns attended a breast cancer awareness reception hosted by Calexico and the Arts Commission at the Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center on Saturday Octuber 1st.
The 5th Annual “Pretty in Pink” women’s luncheon and fashion show featured raffles, a local art expo and tasty wine. The event was created primarily to raise awareness and share information of available programs.
Executive director at Calexico Chamber of Commerce, Hildy Carillo, was the master of ceremony on its 5th edition.
