A celebration that represents the epicenter of the Mexican wine culture and that has been growing along with the production and offer of the wine valleys of the region.
The Provino Committee invites the public to their annual wine tasting. The event will take place on Friday, August 5, 2022, at the Riviera Cultural Center in Ensenada from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM. The cost will be 1,200 M.N. Only for adults (No minors or pets). Food and wine tastings from 7:00 PM and while supplies last. Punctuality is recommended.
For 32 years, Provino has paid homage to the vine harvest season.
More than 70 wineries participate with a tasting of more than 150 wine labels distributed in bars by grape variety, not by winery. The wines are offered to the public directly by producers and oenologists in balanced respect without the leading efforts of any winery.
The evening is complemented by gastronomic samples from more than 50 regional restaurants, a large program of musical talent on different stages of the venue, and a cultural pavilion with artistic expressions.
They are proud owners of the trademark rights of the traditional “Fiestas de la Vendimia”; celebrations that take place for 25 days (July-August) where the most important wineries in the region, international chefs, and the most prestigious restaurants in Mexico meet.
Committee Provino Baja California is a Civil Association made up of 80 winemakers. They have 32 years of experience in promoting the Baja California wine industry, organizing different productions that contribute to promoting the region’s wine culture, such as the traditional “Harvest Festivals” in Ensenada, where the most important chefs of international stature, professionals, and fans of Mexican wine.
