In recent days, members of the Association of Hosts and Tour Operators of Baja California (AATOPBC) visited the State capital to hold their monthly Assembly and take a trip to the new Mexicali Historic Center Route, which will be included in the upcoming Catalog of Tours and Experiences in Baja California.

The President of the AATOPBC, Gilberto Gamiño Herrera pointed out that the start of activities of the new Mexicali Historic Center Route will strengthen the tourist offer of the State capital, which is why the members of said Association were interested in learning about it.

Gamiño Herrera pointed out that the companies that make up the AATOPBC collaborate closely with the State Secretary of Tourism, participating in various promotional events such as FITUR in Spain, the Tianguis Turístico in Mexico, as well as in the Destination Presentations on both sides of the border.

He also highlighted that the AATOPBC serves 75,000 travelers annually, who enjoy tours and tourist experiences in Baja California, which include adventure and nature tourism, gastronomy, cruises, events, and the already famous Ensenada Valleys Wine Route; and soon the Route of the Historical Center of Mexicali.

The President of the AATOPBC commented that the AATOPBC Tours and Experiences Catalog already includes visits to “La Chinesca”, the Sandboarding experience in the Los Algodones dunes, bird-watching tours in the Hardy River, as well as the new concept of “glamping” on the beaches of San Felipe.

Finally, he mentioned that the companies of the Association of Hosts and Tour Operators of Baja California (AATOPBC) have been awarded at the state and national levels for their innovation and creativity in the new tourist products that they offer in their packages to the different destinations of Baja California.
