The seventh edition of the 2023 Paso Rosa Race, organized by the Mujeres Que Viven Foundation, was successfully launched.

The primary goal of the event is to raise funds to support patients battling breast cancer and create a cultural awareness program focused on prevention.

The presentation of “Paso Rosa” was led by Patricia Pacho Ruiz, the Director of the Mujeres Que Viven Foundation. She was joined by Mónica Goldbaum Castro, the General Director of the Águilas de Mexicali Club, and Valerio Camargo III, Director of IMDECUF.

“The Mujeres Que Viven Foundation works tirelessly every day to care for these patients. I am also immensely grateful to the media for serving as an information bridge with the community through the dissemination of these messages of assistance and for combining efforts with all the volunteers,” said the General Director.

Regarding the race route, Rodolfo Gallardo, Fundraising Coordinator at Mujeres Que Viven, mentioned a change in the 5-kilometer route of this recreational pedestrian race. There will also be three categories for women, men, and children, with prizes for the top three in each category.

The race will kick off on Thursday, September 28, starting at the El Nido de Los Águilas sports field. It will continue along Tezozómoc Avenue towards Río Fuerte and then head towards Los Obeliscos Avenue, ultimately reaching Calzada Justo Sierra. From there, participants will follow Calzada Cuauhtémoc, finally entering Ciudad Deportiva and crossing the finish line at the Los Caballeros Águilas stadium.

The registration fee for the race is 300 pesos for adults and 200 pesos for children. Upon registration, participants will receive their kit, which includes their registration number and a commemorative t-shirt.

Registration is open at the Mujeres Que Viven Foundation offices, located within the El Nido de Los Águilas facilities, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
