Playas de Rosarito, B.C. – Baja California’s Secretariat of Tourism is extending a warm invitation to both locals and visitors from across the border to take part in the final experiences of the 2025 Wine Harvest Festival (Fiestas de la Vendimia). This iconic celebration, which has become one of the most anticipated traditions in the region, highlights the vibrant wine culture, culinary richness, and hospitality that distinguish Baja California on the global stage.

Tourism Secretary Zaida Luz López emphasized the importance of the Vendimia season for the state’s cultural and economic life. Each year, the festivities attract thousands of visitors from Mexico, the United States, and beyond, solidifying Baja California as one of Latin America’s most dynamic wine destinations. “The Wine Harvest is more than just a series of events,” López noted. “It is a reflection of our heritage, our creativity, and the spirit of a community that continues to grow through its passion for wine.”

A Diverse Agenda for All Audiences

As the 2025 edition reaches its grand finale, the calendar of events offers something for every taste and age group—from wine enthusiasts and art lovers to families seeking cultural and recreational experiences. Among the highlights are:

A Tradition That Connects Communities

What makes the Vendimia unique is the collaboration behind it. Each activity is the result of joint efforts from the winegrowing community, cultural promoters, and local businesses who come together to create a season that blends tradition, innovation, and hospitality. These events not only celebrate wine, but also the people, history, and landscapes that make Baja California extraordinary.

For residents of the Imperial Valley and travelers from Southern California, the Vendimia offers an ideal opportunity to experience the richness of Baja’s valleys, from Guadalupe to Tecate, while strengthening the cultural ties that unite both sides of the border.

Tourism officials encourage everyone to take advantage of these last opportunities to enjoy the 2025 edition of the Wine Harvest Festival. Whether it’s savoring world-class wines, dancing under the stars, or stepping barefoot into grapes, the Vendimia offers memories that linger far beyond the season.
