Provino Celebrates Unity Through Winemaking with the 4th “Vino Sin Fronteras” Festival in Tijuana

-Editorial

On Saturday, October 11, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Club Campestre Tijuana will once again transform into a hub of wine and culinary culture in the region with the celebration of the fourth edition of the Vino Sin Fronteras Festival, organized by the Provino Committee. This grand event will bring together 40 wineries from the valleys of Baja California, offering tastings and sales of 100 wine labels, including whites, rosés, reds, and sparkling wines.

“The main goal of the festival is to continue promoting wine culture to audiences on both sides of the border, as well as to serve as an important platform for wine tourism among national visitors and those from Southern California, wine enthusiasts, the media, and business organizations in the metropolitan area and San Diego, California,” emphasized Wenceslao Martínez, President of Provino.

Through a partnership with the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (CANIRAC) of Tijuana, 30 restaurants from Tijuana, Ensenada, Valle de Guadalupe, Rosarito, and Tecate will participate, offering culinary samples in a variety of cold, hot, savory, and sweet preparations. In addition, a musical program featuring local talent will perfectly complement the experience.

Reaffirming the festival’s spirit of building a bridge across the northern border of the country through winemaking and strengthening ties with other wine-producing regions, this fourth edition will feature Paso Robles, CA, as the Guest Wine Region, enriching the wine offerings with wineries such as Ancient Peaks Winery, Bodega de Edgar, Field Recordings, Hope Family Wines, Truss, and Vina Robles, thanks to collaboration with the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance.

As part of Provino Baja California’s efforts to benefit vulnerable groups in the wine valleys, the festival also has a social impact, as a significant portion of the proceeds will go toward the rehabilitation of the Unidad Deportiva del Ejido El Porvenir. By promoting sports, recreation, and dignifying public spaces, the festival supports comprehensive development in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe, helping prevent children and youth from falling into harmful habits.

The event is for adults only, with tickets priced at $1,500 MXN per person, including a commemorative wine glass, musical program, and wine and food tastings while supplies last. Attendees are encouraged to arrive on time to enjoy the full gastronomic and wine experience.

By attending the event, you also support the Unidad Deportiva in Valle de Guadalupe. Join this great celebration!
