The FIFA Club World Cup Trophy made a high-profile stop at Trump Tower in Manhattan as part of its global tour ahead of the tournament’s final on July 13, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The trophy will remain on public display at the venue, offering fans a rare opportunity to see the most coveted prize in club football up close.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino, joined by Eric Trump and Brazilian football legend Ronaldo, officially unveiled the trophy during a ceremony on Wednesday. Infantino thanked former President Donald Trump and the U.S. government for their “incredible” support in hosting the tournament, which has drawn over 2.26 million fans from 168 countries.
“Players from 72 countries have competed, and every continent has seen its teams score and win,” Infantino said. “Football is truly global, and this tournament proves that.” He emphasized the event’s unifying message, echoing FIFA’s 2025 motto, “Unite for Peace.”
Eric Trump expressed gratitude to FIFA on behalf of the Trump Organization and New York City, while Ronaldo reflected on the tournament’s global reach and impact. “It’s such an incredible competition. The fan experience has been amazing,” the former striker said.
As part of FIFA’s expanded U.S. footprint, Infantino also announced the opening of a new FIFA representative office at Trump Tower. This follows the recent establishment of FIFA’s operational offices in Miami, supporting both the 2025 Club World Cup and the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Infantino noted New York’s historic role in U.S. soccer, referencing legends like Pelé and Franz Beckenbauer, who played for the New York Cosmos, and Giants Stadium’s role in previous men’s and women’s World Cup matches.
MetLife Stadium will host the tournament’s final three matches: the semi-final between Fluminense FC and Chelsea FC on July 8, Paris Saint-Germain vs. Real Madrid C.F. on July 9, and the championship match on July 13, all scheduled for 3:00 p.m. ET.
All matches are being streamed for free globally through DAZN, FIFA’s exclusive broadcast partner for the tournament.
