Ensenada Real Estate Professionals Association Marks 40th Anniversary With Business Conference

The president of the Ensenada Real Estate Professionals Association, Rodrigo Sandoval Carrillo, said the city’s real estate organization is preparing for a public conference that will also serve as a celebration of its 40th anniversary.
Sandoval Carrillo, who leads Ensenada’s real estate association, said the organization was formally established in June 1986, marking four decades of continuous activity in Baja California’s real estate sector. He added that the anniversary will be commemorated during a conference scheduled for July 4 at Hotel Coral & Marina.
The association president explained that the event is intended to serve both as a commemorative celebration and a professional development forum, bringing together real estate agents, business leaders and members of the general public interested in entrepreneurship and growth strategies.
Sandoval Carrillo described his professional background as a combination of military service and real estate work. He said he served approximately 30 years in the Mexican Navy before retiring and later entering the real estate industry. According to his account, he joined the field after being invited to participate and subsequently became more involved through training, certifications and accreditation programs.
He said that over time, he completed formal education in real estate practices, attended various courses and workshops, and obtained certifications in different areas of the industry. He described the transition as unexpected but ultimately “passionate” and said he decided to remain in the profession because of his interest in professional development and collaboration within the sector.
The association, he added, has evolved over its 40-year history into a professional network focused on strengthening real estate practices in Ensenada and promoting coordination among agents and related professionals. He said the anniversary event will highlight that legacy while emphasizing strategies for future growth.
One of the program’s central features will be a presentation by speaker Jorge Serratos, who will deliver a lecture on what organizers describe as “exponential synergy,” a concept centered on growth through combined efforts, collaboration and strategic alignment among professionals.
Sandoval Carrillo said the presentation aligns with the association’s emphasis on teamwork and shared success. He explained that the concept reflects the idea that individuals and businesses can achieve better results by combining efforts, resources and strategies rather than working in isolation.
He also referenced a phrase associated with the speaker’s message, “1 + 1 = 3,” which is used to illustrate the idea that collaboration can generate results greater than individual contributions alone.
In addition to the keynote presentation, organizers said the event will feature sponsors and invited projects. Among them is the Tecate International Racetrack, which will provide information about its regional development initiatives.
The program will also include other partners and exhibitors presenting projects and services related to real estate, infrastructure and regional economic development.
The event will take place at Hotel Coral & Marina, a waterfront venue that frequently hosts conferences and professional gatherings in Ensenada.
Registration will begin at 10 a.m., according to organizers. A VIP segment is scheduled to continue throughout the afternoon and conclude with a networking session that will allow direct interaction with speaker Jorge Serratos.
Sandoval Carrillo emphasized that although the event is organized by real estate professionals, it is open to the general public. He said the conference is intended not only for the industry but also for entrepreneurs, business owners and individuals interested in personal and professional development tools.
He added that the goal is to provide attendees with practical ideas for business expansion and motivation to foster growth in any sector, regardless of industry. According to Sandoval Carrillo, the conference seeks to promote discipline, collaboration and sustained effort as pillars of success.
The anniversary celebration, he said, reflects both the history and continuity of the association, which has played a consistent role in Ensenada’s real estate sector since its founding in 1986.
