Cervecería La Chinesca will host “La Experiencia Mexicali” (The Experience) 2025, one of northern Mexico’s premier hospitality events, bringing together industry professionals, chefs, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts from across Mexico and Southern California.
The sixth edition of the event, formerly known as Mexicali Mixology, will take place from October 24 to 27. Main activities will be held October 25–26 at the Patios of Cervecería La Chinesca, located in the Barrio Mágico La Chinesca. Organizers said the event has expanded to cover the entire hospitality value chain, combining education, innovation, and networking in a single venue.
Over its six-year history, La Experiencia Mexicali has featured international mentors, prominent brands, and key industry figures, establishing itself as a reference point for hospitality education and professional development. The event will feature master classes, workshops, and tastings led by experts, as well as culinary showcases from students in hospitality and gastronomy.
Highlights include the unveiling of Cervecería La Chinesca’s new taproom and three themed bars: a 1920s-style speakeasy, a gothic bar inspired by Mexicali’s urban legends, and a traditional Mexican cantina. The Pabellón del Sabor will feature global and national brands, craft beer and mocktail producers, local bars, and entrepreneurs.
Additional venues include Hotel Araiza, which will host the welcome party, and Foro Dragón, the site of the Baja Bar Talent National Competition, where emerging bartenders will compete.
Master classes and tastings will require a recovery fee, while access to the pavilion and bars will be free for visitors, subject to restrictions. Organizers encourage responsible drinking and the use of safe transportation options such as Didi or rideshare taxis.
With this edition, Cervecería La Chinesca reinforces its role as a cultural and professional landmark in Mexicali, celebrating the city’s Chinese heritage while fostering education and collaboration in the hospitality industry.
