Financing, investment, and capital-structuring options for hotel projects will be among the central topics at the Binational Hotel Investment Forum for the Tijuana–Playas de Rosarito–Ensenada Coastal Corridor, scheduled for Aug. 27 at the Baja California Center.

The forum will bring together developers, business owners, investors, financial representatives, and industry professionals to discuss opportunities and challenges related to hotel and tourism development along Baja California’s coastal corridor.

Luis Bustamante Fernández, CEO of Bustamante Business Center, said one of the forum’s panels will focus on financial tools that could help developers structure projects, obtain financing, and attract investment.

The panel features Gabriela Gutiérrez of IMEF, José Zozaya Correa of Z Capital, Miguel Guzmán of Banorte, Matías Muchenik of Muchtan Consulting, Ivonne García of Monex, and Alejandro Braojo of Mifel.

According to organizers, the panelists will discuss mechanisms for financing and structuring long-term hotel projects, including approaches that could help developers evaluate investment opportunities and identify appropriate sources of capital.

The forum is also expected to provide an opportunity for developers and financial institutions to exchange information about investment models and current market conditions. Organizers said discussions will focus on identifying financing and investment strategies that correspond with the needs of projects in the region.

The Tijuana–Playas de Rosarito–Ensenada corridor has been identified by organizers as an area with opportunities for tourism and real estate development. The forum will examine the region’s development outlook and the factors that may influence future hotel investments.

Bustamante said understanding financing alternatives and project-structuring strategies is important for developers considering long-term investments in the region. The event is intended to connect those seeking capital with financial institutions and other professionals involved in the development process.

In addition to the financing panel, the Binational Hotel Investment Forum will include discussions involving national and international specialists on tourism, real estate, and investment opportunities along the coastal corridor.

The event is intended for business owners, hotel developers, investors and other professionals interested in tourism and real estate development in Baja California.

The forum will begin at 8 a.m. on Aug. 27 at the Baja California Center in Playas de Rosarito. More information about the event is available at www.forohotelerobc.com.
