The San Diego Food + Wine Festival will return for its 21st year, Nov. 2-9, 2025, bringing together internationally acclaimed chefs, winemakers, and food enthusiasts for one of the nation’s premier culinary celebrations.
This year’s lineup features renowned chefs including Suzette Gresham, Roberto Alcocer, Elijah Arizmendi, and Mexico’s first Michelin-starred chef, Carlos Gaytán. The festival will feature marquee events, including the Grand Decant on November 7, the Grand Tasting on November 8, and the Grand Fiesta on November 9.
Beyond its headlining events, the festival will feature a lineup of exclusive experiences that showcase the region’s culinary diversity. Highlights include the SDFWellness Pop-Up at Fox Point Farms on Nov. 2, the BICA Block Party presented by Chef Works on Nov. 3, and the Bad Boyz of Culinary BBQ Dinner at Ranch 45 on Nov. 5. Additional programming includes Flavors of Kapwa: A Filipino Culinary Experience, the Baja Culinary Expedition, the Forkcast: Future of Food Summit, the Culinary Cinema Series in partnership with the Coronado Island Film Festival, and special dinners such as the 10th Anniversary Louis Latour Dinner and the Wines of Georgia Tasting: Ancient Roots, Modern Sips.
Organizers announced new partnerships with the James Beard Foundation and Southwest Airlines, expanding the festival’s reach and focus. The event will highlight Latin, Asian, and BIPOC culinary traditions that have shaped Southern California’s diverse food culture.
Drawing more than 11,000 attendees annually, the San Diego Food + Wine Festival has evolved into a platform for creativity, sustainability, and community engagement. It aims to foster collaboration among chefs, winemakers, and food activists from across Southern California, Mexico, and beyond, celebrating the cross-border connections that define the region’s culinary identity.
