Tourism officials and representatives from the regional wine industry announced the third edition of Viñadas, a series of events celebrating the wine, culinary, and tourism culture of the Valle de Guadalupe, with 18 activities scheduled from May through December 2026.

The event calendar was presented by the association Emprendedores del Valle de Guadalupe during a gathering attended by tourism officials and members of the local wine and hospitality sectors.

Representing Baja California Secretary of Tourism Miguel Ángel Badiola Montaño, Ensenada Tourism Delegate Yolanda Navarro Caballero, and Valle de Guadalupe Tourism Delegate Jacqueline Denise Izabal Bitterlin participated in the presentation.

Organizers said the Viñadas initiative aims to highlight the region’s winemaking heritage and the work of the producers, wineries, and tourism businesses that contribute to the area’s identity. The event series also seeks to promote the natural landscape of the valley, as well as the region’s climate and its diverse agricultural and seafood products.

Tourism officials noted that Gov. Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda has identified the Valle de Guadalupe as a strategic region for tourism development in Baja California, with a focus on strengthening the state’s wine tourism sector.

According to organizers, the event series invites visitors to explore the Valle de Guadalupe through a range of experiences centered on wine, gastronomy, and local culture. Activities are designed to encourage tourism within Baja California while highlighting the valley’s reputation as the country’s leading wine-producing region.

Marco Estudillo Bernal, president of Emprendedores del Valle de Guadalupe, said the event calendar reflects collaboration among wineries, agricultural producers, and tourism-related businesses that are part of the association.

He said the goal of the initiative is to promote the valley’s wine industry while strengthening its position as an international tourism destination.

The 2026 Viñadas calendar includes 18 events scheduled between May and December. The series will begin May 23 at Salvia Blanca and conclude later in the year with a Christmas Lights Parade.

Organizers said the program will feature a variety of activities showcasing the valley’s wine production, culinary offerings, and tourism experiences throughout the season.
