We have arrived to the season that gently reminds us what love truly means. Love and genuine friendship are values we sometimes take for granted, especially in times when the world can feel driven by division, competition, and misunderstanding.

Yet in a world that often feels overwhelmed by noise and negativity, we are reminded that there is one force stronger than all the rest — and that is love.

This month, we invite you to embrace it. To count your blessings. To recognize the many ways love manifests in your life — through family, friendship, purpose, community, and service.

In this edition, we are especially proud to feature the Champions of the Imperial County Mock Trial competition — the Vincent Memorial team — who will soon represent our region at the state level. Their dedication, discipline, and teamwork are a powerful reminder that the next generation is filled with talent, integrity, and promise. Don’t miss this inspiring story, along with thoughtful contributions from our team of experts and seasoned journalists.

While there was a slight delay in launching our new website, it is now nearly ready — or perhaps already live as you read this. We invite you to visit, subscribe, and continue supporting our work as we carry forward the mission that has guided us for nearly ten years:

To create bridges beyond borders.

Thank you for your continued trust and loyalty. We are filled with gratitude — and with excitement — because we truly believe the best is yet to come.

With appreciation,
Ellie Burgueño
