XXII Festival of Shells and New Wine

-Editorial

The XXII Shell and New Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, April 30, and Sunday, May 1 at Terraza del Mar at the Hotel Coral & Marina, from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Local winemakers hand in hand with renowned fish farmers and chefs come together at this event; an Ensenada tradition that pays homage to the local ingredient.

Provino, in coordination with the municipality and the state, works to develop the activities of this festival that strengthens the position of the city in the wine tourism scene.  Exclusive meals with renowned chefs, winemakers, and fish farmers at the “Marine Tables”; tastings of more than 70 wineries with recently launched wines, aquaculture workshops, and tastings fresh or in dishes prepared with oysters, mussels, abalone, clams or snails, are some of the activities that the festival contemplates.

The event will be held under the capacity and protocols indicated by the corresponding authorities.  As part of the responsible practices with the environment, the use of biodegradable materials and the separation of waste will be implemented, thus contributing to sustainability.
