With great success we celebrated our first anniversary of Beyond Borders Gazette. On Friday June 2, with current Miss Baja California acting as Master of Ceremonies, Kenya Ponce, we held the event in which we had the honor to receive authorities from both sides of the border as attendees to our celebration. Among them we had Consul of Mexico in Calexico, Carlos Flores Vizcarra, Senator in Mexico, Víctor Hermosillo Celada, Congresswoman Gina Cruz, Senator Ben Hueso’s field representative in Imperial County, Hector Araujo, California Assembly member, Eduardo Garcia, as well as John Renison, current member of the Imperial County Board of Supervisors, Miguel Urriza, Dean of Continuing Education at Cetys University, Eugenio Lagarde representing Canacintra together with businessmen, contributors, the media, sponsors and friends.
