The pandemic caused by Covid-19 or Coronavirus gave us a complete turnaround to our lives, however, Tijuana Innovadora, evolving as always, did not sit idly by and instead of postponing its fifth edition, decided to convert the celebrations of its 10th anniversary into a free digital event.
For this event called “Tijuana is the Future” it was thought that the city deserves to be recognized for being at the forefront in different issues such as education, health, science, justice, economy, sports, communications, trade and business, the role of women in the future, crime prevention and architecture, therefore always considering that we are approaching a transition from one decade to another and it is necessary to rethink our present.
From October 6 to 10, the great Tijuana Innovadora event returns to face new challenges and in a different, virtual, but equally valuable space. It will have the participation of international experts in different areas such as Dialogues of the Future, Art and Creative Industries, as well as a summary of the activities for its 10 years of movement in tijuanaeselfuturo.org
Tijuana Innovadora is a project that knows that the only thing that never changes is that everything is constantly evolving and that is why, according to the circumstances in this year’s Walk of Fame, it was decided to recognize those organizations that in both sides of the border helped the population in these times of pandemic.
An event that in the same week offers the presentations of the actress and activist Yalitza Aparicio, President of the UNAM, Enrique Graue, TV-Host Marco Antonio Regil, architect Carlo Ratti, Dr. Ron Diskin, among others, certainly deserves to be valued and listened to carefully. In addition, it will also have activities to promote the fashion and video game industry.
