Salvia Blanca and Contemplación in Valle de Guadalupe are making a mark in the national gastronomic, tourism infrastructure, and social responsibility scenes, as evidenced by the announcement from General Director Francisco Bazán, who revealed three finalist nominations the group has received this year.
Among the nominations are Best Young Chef of the Year for Aldo Ayala, Best Hotel Restaurant for Salvia Blanca, and Restaurant Committed to the Environment. These nominations, he stated, are historic as it is the first time three nominations have been received by a group from Valle de Guadalupe, highlighting the group’s commitment to excellence and sustainability.
Bazán noted that the CANIRAC award, with over three decades of history, is celebrating its 33rd edition this year. This award recognizes leaders and establishments that elevate the Mexican gastronomy industry with their creativity and excellence.
Francisco Bazán emphasized the significance of these nominations, highlighting Salvia Blanca and Contemplación’s ongoing efforts to offer world-class service. The goal is to create a unique space that invites customers to return and share unique and unforgettable experiences framed within the magic of Baja California’s Wine Route, he said.
He added that the nominations also position Valle de Guadalupe on a national level. Salvia Blanca and Contemplación represent the region and its commitment to continuous improvement and social and environmental responsibility.
The judging panel, he explained, is made up of experts from the tourism, gastronomy, and academic fields, and evaluates finalists based on criteria such as research, innovation, and service excellence.
Francisco Bazán reiterated the invitation to visit the Wine Route and experience Salvia Blanca and Contemplación firsthand. “These recognitions are a testament to the hard work and dedication of a great team,” he concluded.
