MEXICALI, B.C.- On October 9, 2019, the Governor of the State, Francisco Vega de Lamadrid, sent the head of the Administration and Finance Unit of the Secretary of Public Education, Héctor Martín Garza González, a request for extraordinary resources of the Program U080 “Support to education centers and organizations” for a total of 300 million pesos.
Through the Agreement for the delivery of extraordinary non-regularizable financial support, of the U080 Budget Program, Governor Francisco Vega exposes the SEP the need to cover expenses inherent to the operation and provision of education services in the State, which are found subject to the state budget availability, and are depending on the problems to be resolved since the state does not have the necessary resources to meet the obligations of the payroll of the teaching staff, benefits of state teaching, among other concepts.
With the arrival of these resources to Baja California this week, the Magisterium’s commitments will be met, as it is paid to retirees and pensioners through ISSSTECALI.
The State Government, until the last moment of its administration, faces the commitments with the different sectors, knocking on the federal authority’s doors to send the pending federal resources to Baja California, hoping that the next State Administration is supported with them.
