Mexicali, B.C.- Given the challenging situation that our community is going through, “Mujeres Que Viven” Foundation organized the first edition of “Virtual Bingo”, where the Cachanilla community joined, to exceed the established goal and the event turned out into a complete success.
Under the initiative of its President, Mrs. Ma. de Jesús Villalobos de Murillo, the idea arose to create a recreational activity that will help to obtain financial resources to cover the expenses of eight mastectomy surgeries and chemotherapy treatments.
It was then that it was decided to organize the first edition of “Virtual Bingo” where the traditional gamble game was brought to digital platforms, in order to protect the health and integrity of each of the participants, promoting coexistence and help among each other in these difficult times.
“Within ‘Mujeres Que Viven’ we wish to express our deepest gratitude for having participated in this event, thank you very much for being close to us, thank you very much because you will make possible the surgery of eight mastectomies. Today your heart illuminates the path of hope for those women patients suffering from breast cancer”, said Professor Patricia Pacho Ruíz, Director of the “Mujeres Que Viven” Foundation.
“As long as there are generous hearts, there will be hope.”
