To continue their preparation for the 2024 season of the LNBP (Mexican National Basketball League), Soles de Mexicali will travel on Thursday, July 4th to Chihuahua, where they will play a couple of games at the Manuel Bernardo Aguirre Gymnasium.

Manuel Hussein’s players will first travel to Tijuana and then fly to the capital of Chihuahua on Thursday night. There, they will face the reigning champions, Fuerza Regia from Monterrey, and the local team, Dorados de Chihuahua.

Traditionally known as the “Golden Cup,” this year’s tournament will feature only three participating teams.

The triangular tournament kicks off on Friday, July 5th with a match between Dorados and Fuerza Regia. On Saturday, Soles will play against the Monterrey team in a game scheduled for 5:00 PM Baja California time.

The tournament concludes on Sunday with a match between Chihuahua and Mexicali, set for 3:00 PM. It’s worth noting that these games will be broadcast on the Dorados de Chihuahua’s Facebook account.

Following these matches, Soles will travel to Monterrey to wrap up their preparations and face Fuerza Regia in the season’s opening games on Friday, July 12th, and Saturday, July 13th.
