Soles Begins Training for Upcoming Season

Long-awaited returns and promising news were part of the experience at the first training session of the 2023 preseason for Soles de Mexicali at the PSF Auditorium.

Captain Luke Martínez, Eric García, Josué Lara, and Austreberto Tona are the players who dressed once again with the colors of the Cachanilla club after a year of absence.

Pedro Carrillo, the new strategist of the four-time champions of the Liga Sisnova LNBP, was happy with the arrival of the full squad, except for the Panamanian Eugenio “Geno” Luzcando, who will report in a week.

Soles has already presented its list of six foreigners, in addition to the aforementioned Luzcando, since this Monday it already has the already announced JJ Mann, Andrew Smtih, and Jase Febres. But the 2.08-meter-tall pivot Ryan Stephan and the 2.02-meter wing, Ivan Aska, also arrived on cachanilla lands.

The Sonorans Víctor Álvarez and Alex Reyna who repeat in Mexicali also reported on the first day of training.

Coach Pedro Carrillo also has his full staff, assistants Jean Serrano, Carlos Arenas, and Luis Ramírez, physiotherapists José Galaviz and Nilton Becerra, as well as physical trainer Caleb Uribe.
