REACH Air Medical Services & Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District sign Preferred Provider Agreement

Local Hospital continues partnership with nationally recognized air ambulance provider

(Brawley, California – May 8, 2018) – To continue with the National Hospital Week festivities, REACH Air Medical Services (REACH) and Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District (PMHD), an Affiliate of Scripps Health hosted a Preferred Provider Agreement signing ceremony to celebrate their long-standing commitment to healthcare in Imperial County this Friday.

“We’re excited to renew our Preferred Provider Agreement with REACH Air Medical Services,” said Pioneers CEO Larry Lewis. “The agreement strengthens the relationship between Pioneers and REACH, and brings two top-level providers together to benefit the patients of Imperial Valley.”

REACH has been a preferred provider of emergency air medical transport services at PMHD since July 2008. Serving Imperial County and the surrounding communities from its, 24-hour base locations in Imperial and Brawley, REACH employs two teams of highly trained and experienced Pilots, Flight Nurses, and Flight Paramedics.  Donald L. Wharton, Director of Business Strategy for REACH Air Medical Services, says, “REACH is very proud to continue its work with Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District.  We are committed to providing a first-class experience to the patients that are being transported on behalf of Pioneers. We can’t thank Pioneers enough for their renewed commitment and placing their trust in REACH.  This is also a very significant commitment to the thousands of REACH Air Medical Services members in Imperial Valley, so on their behalf, we thank Pioneers as well.”

“On behalf of the Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District Board of Directors, we are very happy to continue to work with REACH Air Medical Services, which is a nationally recognized air ambulance provider. We are committed to delivering quality care, and we are proud to announce our continued affiliation with REACH for the benefit of our patients,” said Pioneers President Maria Garcia-Aguilera.
