PIONEERS MEMORIAL Celebrates National Hospitalist Day

(BRAWLEY, CA) —Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District, an Affiliate of Scripps Health proudly observed and celebrated National Hospitalist Day today—which recognizes the growing number of dedicated hospitalists around the country and here in the Imperial Valley.

“We recognize the countless contributions of our local hospitalists to healthcare, from clinical, academic and leadership perspectives and more,” says Larry Lewis, CEO of Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District. “Hospitalists innovate, lead and push the boundaries of clinical care and deserve to be recognized for their transformative contributions to healthcare,” Lewis added.

A hospitalist is a dedicated in-patient physician who works exclusively in a hospital and provides enduring contributions to the evolving healthcare landscape. National Hospitalist Day will serve to celebrate the fastest growing specialty in modern medicine and hospitalists’ enduring contributions to the evolving healthcare landscape.
