The official presentation of the book ¨Mexicali Decide to Be Great, 13 stories that inspire and its formula of business success¨, began with a panel moderated by Antonio Silva, from the firm Deloitte, who was the presenter and official commentator of the book, said panel also had the participation of Veronica Ortiz, Mariana Acevedo, Maricela González, Rodolfo Andrade, Marco Macedo and Karla Macedo, who participated as writers of this project.

Eng. Karla Macedo Cham, Co-Founder of Mexicali Decides to Be Great, acknowledged the great teamwork and collaboration that she had in this project. “Thanks to Verónica Ortiz, who accepted to interview and write these 13 stories that inspire, thanks to the collaborators of the Committee who have given hours to Mexicali Decide to be Great unconditionally, Lizeth Castillo, Marco Macedo, Ana Laura Cham, Daylin Garcia, Edith Verdejo, Francisco Caballero, Team Pulsar Media, and many more, who in these 4 months added up”.

Among the attendees were representative of the Governor of Baja California, Lic. Gustavo Moreno Morales, State Coordinator in the Economic Development Secretary, Elected City Mayor, Lic. Gustavo Sánchez Vázquez, Deans, Directors and Teachers of the educational Institutions of the 5 Municipalities in the State, more than 500 members of business organizations, civil society organizations, start-ups, entrepreneurs, allies and members of the entrepreneurial community of Mexicali Decide to Be Great..

At 19:30 O’Clock, the business panels began, in which: Mario García Franco, Juan Glenn, Eduardo Martínez Palomera Angel, Francisco Laredo, Javier Sánchez, Gustavo Gaspar, Alejandra Phelts, Marco Miranda, Juan Ignacio Guajardo, Gustavo Vildosola, Mitl Llamas, Manuel Lorenzo and Federico Díaz participated.
