As part of a significant boost to Baja California’s air connectivity with the rest of the country and abroad, Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda announced a new flight between Tijuana and Las Vegas, Nevada.

The flight will be launched next October by the Mexican airline Volaris and represents a new opportunity to travel to one of the main tourist destinations in the United States.

The state governor stated that the official start will be on October 29, 2024, with flights scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. She added that the company already has tickets available for sale.

Meanwhile, Baja California’s Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Aguiñiga Rodríguez, highlighted that Nevada is the third largest source market for American tourists to the state, just behind California and Arizona.

The state official emphasized that the flight aims to facilitate access to Baja California’s tourist attractions, strengthening the cultural and economic ties that already exist between the cities of Tijuana and Las Vegas.
