The Sentri users will experience changes due to the construction of new infrastructure that will help people have better access to the west port of entry in Mexicali.
As of July 9, access to the Sentri lane in the Mexicali West Port of Entry will be through Colon Avenue, according to personnel from the SCT in Baja California.
This is done due to the construction of the bridge that will connect the road with the downtown area of the city, which is why traffic will be restricted.
It should be noted that access to the Sentri lane at the Mexicali-Calexico west border crossing, the Río Nuevo boulevard is used to enter the US Customs.
On Colon Avenue, a lane will be available for the exclusive use of people who have the Sentri card.
In what corresponds to the road in the Mexican customs, a deviation of two blocks will be implemented and then incorporated to the Río Nuevo boulevard.
