In an extraordinary session, the Mayor of Mexicali gave the oath of office to Pedro Ariel Mendivil García, as the new head of the Municipal Public Safety Department, replacing Joel Dueñez Hurtado.
Mayor Norma Bustamante recognized Joel Dueñez Hurtado, for having coordinated the work of the Municipal Public Security Department during the first months of the administration he heads.
On the other hand, the Mayor and the council endorsed the career of Pedro Ariel Mendivil, who has extensive experience in the matter.
