MEXICALI WILL HOST THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL PHYSIOTHERAPY CONGRESS

The community is invited to a physiotherapy congress the coming February 8, 9 and 10.

Mexicali B.C. on January 23, 2018.- With the purpose of promoting Mexicali as a cutting-edge city in Medical Tourism and training in this sector, the “First International Congress of Physiotherapy” will be held in the coming days, promoted by the City of Mexicali through COTUCO and the Government of the State of Baja California’s Secretary of Public Health.

Omar Dipp Núñez, Director of COTUCO explained that for the first time Mexicali will host an event of international stature that will include participation of specialists from Mexico and the United States in the field of Physiotherapy.

The official explained that attendance of more than 500 people interested in acquiring the tools, procedures, and knowledge in physiotherapy which will allow them to develop themselves successfully in the therapeutic field is expected.

Dipp Núñez, informed that the Congress will be held on February 8, 9 and 10 at the State Center for the Arts (CEART), where topics related to cardiac physiotherapy, sports, orthopedic, pediatric, gynecological, neurological therapy, as well as the delivery of workshops related to rehabilitation will be presented.

He stressed that one of the main objectives is to offer continuing education in Physiotherapy, based on cutting-edge medicine provided by health professionals from leading universities and medical centers across the country.

On the other hand it was reported that the event arose from leaders emerged in the area of ​​physiotherapy interested in the initiative, who will meet to share their knowledge and money collected from the event will go to equip the orthopedic area of ​​the General Hospital of Mexicali.
