Mexicali Diocese announced event to recognize catholic teachers

Catholic schools of the Diocese of Mexicali will gather today May 20 in an event to celebrate Teacher’s Day.

In a press conference held at the Casino Mexicali, the Director of the Diocesan Commission of Pastoral Education, Father Ignacio Parra Núñez, announced that this event will be in the auditorium Manuel Pérez Gil next to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Downtown Mexicali.

This event was organized to thank teachers for their effort to educate and promote values ​​for the youth of Mexicali. There will also be workshops and talks on the challenges and future projects for Catholic schools.

Teachers from Instituto Valle de Mexicali, Salvatierra, ABC Preschool, and Santa Maria de Gracia will be present. The Bishop of Mexicali Jose Isidro Guerrero Macias will give a mass for the teachers.
