The Imperial Valley Economic Development Corporation hosted its 16th Annual Dinner on December 15th, 2022 at La Resaca in El Centro, CA.
Every year, the Annual Dinner allows IVEDC to say thank you to their partners and investors who share the mission to improve the economy and create jobs in the Imperial Valley.
The awards are to celebrate economic development accomplishments in the Imperial Valley over the past year, the annual awards ceremony recognized the following organizations and individuals.
Volunteer of the Year
Awarded to Buz Schott, IVEDC Board Member, and Consultant at Con Edison
Project of the Year
Awarded to indieDWELL, a modular home manufacturing facility located in Brawley to begin production in 2023
Partner of the Year
Awarded to Imperial Valley College, a long-time partner of IVEDC in economic and workforce development
Initiative of the Year
Awarded to Imperial Valley Business Resource Center, a program serving the business community since 2020
Chairperson’s Award
Awarded to Sean Wilcock, Vice President of Business Development at IVEDC
Investor of the Year
Awarded to One World Beef, a family-owned business in Imperial Valley giving back to the community and IVEDC Diamond Investor
