Rosarito, Baja California – In its fifth edition, the highly anticipated reggaeton and urban music event, Baja Beach Fest 2023, brought together a crowd of over 80,000 people for a weekend filled with joy and rhythm from August 11th to 13th. With renowned artists and an electrifying atmosphere, this festival has established itself as one of the standout events in the region.

Baja Beach Fest, returning this year stronger than ever, featured an exceptional lineup of artists who enthralled the audience with their spectacular performances. The event took place in an energetic and festive setting, along the beautiful beaches of Rosarito.

Over the course of three days, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy the performances of the most anticipated urban music artists. On Friday, August 11th, the stage lit up with performances by Wisin y Yandel, El Alfa, Eladio Carrion, Manuel Turizo, Tany, Gera Mx, Farina Del V, DJ Mariam, and DJ Fresco. The excitement continued on Saturday, August 12th, with stellar performances by Ozuna, Feid, Becky G, Alexis y Fido, and the iconic reggaeton artist Ivy Queen. Additionally, emerging talents like Ryan Castro, Yovngchimi, Young Miko, Chanell, Sky Rompiendo, and DJ Dynamiq also made their mark on the stage.

The final day of the festival, Sunday, August 13th, was equally thrilling with unforgettable performances by Don Omar, Tego Calderón, Arcangel, Zion y Lennox, Tokischa, Nio García, Blessd, DJ Luian, Mariah, Cmeron Delon, and Reggaetonlandia. The grand finale was delivered by Grupo Firme in a special performance that captivated the Rosarito audience.

While music and fun took center stage, security was also a priority during the event. The State Force of Citizen Security (FESC) collaborated with other security agencies to ensure the safety and protection of attendees at Baja Beach Fest 2023. With 55 agents and 25 patrol cars, a joint operation was implemented to ensure the order and the well-being of the visitors.

General Leopoldo Tizoc Aguilar Durán, Secretary of Citizen Security of Baja California, emphasized the importance of maintaining security and the successful execution of this musical event, which attracts numerous visitors year after year.

Despite the overall success of Baja Beach Fest, there were some critical voices from attendees who pointed out the high cost of the event and the lack of basic services, such as water stations, despite the high summer temperatures. Although these critiques are valid, the majority of attendees praised the quality of the performances and the festive atmosphere that prevailed throughout the weekend.

In summary, Baja Beach Fest 2023 once again solidified itself as a must-attend event for urban music and fun enthusiasts. With its successful fifth edition, this festival continues to make its mark on the region’s music scene and promises to continue surprising in the years to come.
