Through intelligence and investigative work targeting violence generators in the state of Sinaloa, personnel from the Secretariat of National Defense (Defensa), Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), Attorney General’s Office (FGR), National Guard (GN), and Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) arrested Juan Carlos “N”, identified as a financial operator for a criminal group operating in the region.
Following extensive analysis and tracking efforts, authorities pinpointed the operational zone of a violent cell linked to drug trafficking. During reconnaissance patrols in Quilá, a locality in the municipality of Culiacán, one of the targets was located. Upon noticing the presence of law enforcement, the suspect attempted to flee but was apprehended.
Juan Carlos “N” was informed of the reasons for his arrest and his constitutional rights. To ensure public safety, he was transported by air and placed at the disposal of the corresponding Public Prosecutor, who will determine his legal status.
The detainee is linked to a criminal organization as a financial operator and maintained influence through groups and cells, particularly in Quilá.
These actions reaffirm the commitment of the Security Cabinet institutions to work in coordination to build peace and apprehend violence generators in Sinaloa.
