Rotarians from all over the Imperial Valley gathered in a very unique and enjoyable evening as they had a first annual dinner that joined all the Imperial Valley clubs under one roof.
Rotarians from Calexico, Brawley, Holtville, Imperial, and El Centro mixed to get meet new people and plan future projects together. Rotary is one big family and it shows that tonight.
“It was a very positive experience and speaking to other Rotarians is that we should have done it sooner and we will continue doing it,” said James Garcia, President of the El Centro Rotary Club.
Randy Miles spoke about his work with the Thousand Smiles Foundation and the work he does to help children with cleft palate in Ensenada.
“It’s important that we get the Imperial Valley Rotary together,” Miles said. “I went to visit all the clubs two years ago to tell them about Thousand Smiles in Ensenada.”
