On June 8, 2020, the Imperial County Public Health Department COVID-19 Dashboard showed the total number of persons tested in Imperial County to be 18,996. [June 9, 2020], this number has been corrected to reflect 17,191.
Additionally, the number of out-of-county cases currently being reported is 93. As part of tomorrow’s update, this number will be corrected to reflect that there are actually 90 out-of-county cases.
These discrepancies were detected during the Department’s ongoing review of data merged between the statewide disease reporting system and the database for the dashboard in an effort to detect and correct any instances of duplicate entries as quickly as possible. All other numbers reflected in the dashboard have been verified and are correct.
