El Centro, CA — On October 1, 2024, the Imperial Irrigation District (IID) Board of Directors approved a resolution to celebrate Public Power Week and launch a special double incentive promotion for energy efficiency rebates. This initiative aims to encourage our valued customers to adopt energy-saving practices, contributing to the building of a sustainable future.
From October 1 to 31, 2024, we will offer our customers double the usual rebate value, aimed at making it easier to invest in energy-saving improvements. Participating in this promotion represents an excellent opportunity for our customers to achieve significant savings while increasing the comfort and energy efficiency of their homes.
Eligible improvements include appliances (such as refrigerators, room air conditioners, dishwashers, washers and dryers, etc.), HVAC systems, smart thermostats, variable speed pool pumps, and more. This initiative helps many families save money while reducing overall energy demand, contributing to a more resilient and sustainable energy grid.
