IID launches new online portal for energy customer service project proposals

-Editorial

Customers seeking new or upgraded electrical services from the Imperial Irrigation District’s Energy Department are now able to complete and submit applications and follow the status of their projects over IID’s new online Customer Project Application Portal.

This includes electrical service projects for new or upgraded residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, etc., customers.

“We’re excited to be able to offer this new tool to our customers, which we expect will help speed up the application process through the electronic format,” said Matt Smelser, Energy Department Manager. “By using the application portal, customers will find the resources and self-service tools for more efficient project application and management, greater visibility into the planning and construction process, and better communication with the IID team.”

To use the new Customer Project Application Portal, customers will be required to create a profile, after which they will be able to access applications online, submit an inquiry for the type of service they need, track the progress of their project and access IID planning guides for development and more.

The new Customer Project Application Portal can be accessed online at: https://mycsp.iid.com/.
