The Foundation for Education, an auxiliary organization of the Imperial County Office of Education, will host its second annual Autumn & the Arts fundraiser to help support its scholarship program on October 6, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The evening will be filled with an assortment of hand-picked art, live entertainment, and a dinner.
The Foundation for Education is inviting Imperial County high school students and local artists to submit their best artwork for the Autumn & the Arts Art Exhibit. Approximately 20-25 pieces will be selected for the exhibit. Those interested in having their artwork showcased at the Foundation for Education’s Art Exhibit are invited to fill out the Artwork Submission Form available at https://foundation.icoe.org/art by September 12, 2022.
“We look forward to sharing the talents of our students and our community at our second annual Autumn & the Arts Fundraiser,” said Dr. Todd Finnell, County Superintendent of Schools and President of the Foundation for Education. “We’re very excited to host this special evening of celebration in support of our students and the arts!”
The Foundation for Education will hold a live auction of a few signature items, including an original signed and numbered limited edition print donated by Simón Silva, as well as sculptures donated by Debi Smerdon from DS Arts Studio, and a mosaic designed by local students in partnership with the Rainforest Art Project.
Tickets are $100 and will help support the Foundation for Education’s Scholarship program. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available, including a Table Sponsorship (8 tickets for $600). If you are interested in purchasing tickets, reserving a table, or becoming a sponsor, please visit the Foundation for Education website at http://foundation.icoe.org/fundraiser.
