FAMILIES IN MEXICALI ARE INVITED TO ENJOY THE LAST WEEKEND OF VILLA NAVIDEÑA

  • Mexicalians invited to the closing of the Christmas Village next Sunday

 In order to culminate with the festivities of this holiday season, the 22nd City Council of Mexicali invites families to enjoy an artistic and musical program prepared within the framework of the closure of the Christmas Village (Villa Navideña) this Sunday, January 7 at 6:00 in the afternoon.

Victor Hugo Ramírez Briceño, Director of the Center for Fairs and Exhibitions (FEX), said that the attendees of the Christmas Village will be able to enjoy the Ice Rink, Santa’s House, the Monumental Nativity, as well as exhibition and sale of articles of the Season, as well as food and a great family atmosphere.

He mentioned that the traditional Rosca de Reyes and chocolate will be shared with the audience, as well as live music and the participation of local artists.

The director said that access is completely free, visitors are only are asked to donate non-perishable and personal hygiene items that will be delivered to the vulnerable families in need and who are assisted by the Municipal DIF.

 He indicated that all the food donated by the visitors to the Christmas Village, will be used so that personnel of the Municipal DIF, elaborate pantries that will be delivered to families that require it.

Ramírez Briceño, informed that this last weekend Mexicalians will be able to visit the Christmas Village from 4:00pm to 10.
