In recent days, during the morning press conference known as “Las Mañaneras del Pueblo” led by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services, and Tourism (CONCANACO SERVYTUR) formally announced Buen Fin 2024. This year’s shopping event, scheduled for November 15-18, is projected to generate an economic impact of 165 billion pesos, marking a 10% increase over last year’s figures.
The president of CONCANACO SERVYTUR, Octavio de la Torre de Stéffano, emphasized that Buen Fin aims to stimulate domestic consumption and strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the country. This year, the campaign will focus on promoting goods authentically made in Mexico.
“This year, we want to work with Economic Development Secretaries in each region to further spotlight products genuinely made in Mexico,” stated De la Torre de Stéffano. “We extend our gratitude to governors and local authorities who support this initiative. Buen Fin is a program for all Mexicans, entirely free, aimed at bolstering local economies within communities. This is the key to Buen Fin’s success.”
The Buen Fin event will welcome the participation of 190,000 businesses, which have until November 14 to register on the official platform elbuenfin.concanaco.com.mx. De la Torre de Stéffano extended an invitation to a wide range of businesses, including restaurants, transportation services, clinics, small shops, toy stores, travel agencies, hotels, beauty salons, department stores, and educational institutions, to sign up on the platform.
“With President Sheinbaum as a witness, I invite restaurant owners, transport providers, medical practitioners, shop owners, toy stores, travel agencies, hotels, schools, beauty salons, department stores—everyone who opens their doors daily to serve customers and exemplifies dedication—to register on elbuenfin.concanaco.com.mx. Here, businesses can showcase their offers and promotions, giving consumers valuable information for a safe and informed shopping experience,” he said.
The Buen Fin 2024 initiative is also enhancing its reach through a mobile app, available for free, which will list all the registered businesses, promotions, and discounts. The app promises exclusive offers and personalized experiences, making it easier for consumers to locate the best deals.
Buen Fin, often compared to Black Friday, has become a major event for consumers and businesses alike, providing significant savings opportunities and a vital economic boost across Mexico. By focusing on Mexican-made products, this year’s event not only aims to support local artisans and manufacturers but also seeks to instill pride in Mexican craftsmanship and production.
The Buen Fin 2024 trade event represents a collaborative effort involving private sector organizations, local authorities, and national entities, all unified to stimulate economic growth and provide real benefits to businesses and communities across the country.
