CREATIVE INDUSTRIES IN THE 4FRONTED BINATIONAL MEGAREGION

The 4FrontED Board of Directors extends a cordial invitation to the general public to the virtual panel Creative Industries in the 4FrontED Binational Megaregion – Vol. I-, which will take place on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 10:30 a.m.  (Arizona time), via Zoom.

The program focuses on creative industries, which include technology, innovation, sports, art, and culture, among others, as triggers for economic and tourism development.

The group of distinguished panelists is described below:

 ▪ Marco Martínez O’Daly, Urban Economist, Smart City University.

 ▪ Adry del Rocío, 3D Urban Artist.

 ▪ Alejandra Mondaca, Member of the College of Architects of San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora.

 ▪ Fernando Félix, Coordinator of the Trust of the Historic Center of Mexicali, Baja California.

The moderator of the event will be Arlyn Galaviz, Program Manager of the Mayor’s Office of Yuma, Arizona.

Creative industries are those that are based on individual creativity, skill, and talent or have the potential to generate profits and jobs through the development or production of intellectual property (source: https://www.gov.scot).

“It is very important to talk about the positive impact of the creative industries in the world economy; the 4FrontED Binational Megaregion has a diverse and talented population when it comes to merging art and culture, and seeing these areas as income generators economic,” said Nazzer Méndez, Executive Director of 4FrontED.
