CLOCKS WILL BE DELAYED IN BAJA CALIFORNIA THIS NOVEMBER 5

  • If you live in Baja California, you are advised to delay your clocks one hour starting Saturday night

The State Administration headed by Governor Francisco Vega de Lamadrid, through the General Secretariat of Government, informs the general public that time will change this Sunday November 5 in Baja California, so remember to delay clocks one hour, Saturday night.

The Secretary General of Government, Francisco Rueda Gómez, indicated that in accordance with the Decree establishing the seasonal schedule it will apply in the United Mexican States, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on March 1, 2002; the border municipalities of Tijuana and Mexicali in Baja California; Juárez and Ojinaga in Chihuahua; Acuña and Piedras Negras in Coahuila; Anahuac in Nuevo Leon; as well as Nuevo Laredo Reynosa and Matamoros in Tamaulipas; the application of this seasonal schedule will take effect at two o’clock on the first Sunday of November.

That is why the public is advised that summer time in Baja California will end this Sunday, November 5, with the purpose that on that date their clocks go back one hour and their daily activities are not seen affected.
