Southern California students met CETYS University educational offer and facilities.
Mexicali BC.- CETYS University invited students from Southern California to meet its educational offerings and facilities in the first edition of “Campus Open House”, where attendees had the opportunity to be informed of the benefits provided by the Educational Institution to students who want to continue their professional studies.
“During the visit they toured the Campus, received detailed information about the history of the university, heard testimony from US students currently enrolled in their degree at CETYS who spoke to them about student life and cultural activities and sports that are performed along with their classes,” explained MBA, Melania Gutierrez Mayorga, Director of Development and Promotion of CETYS University, Mexicali Campus.
Mayorga explained that those preparing professionally at CETYS have the opportunity to graduate with a double academic degree valid in Mexico and in the United States, the University Programs are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
In addition to the Double Degree, CETYS holds cooperation agreements with more than a 100 institutions, business organizations and universities around the world mainly European, which make it possible for Cetys students to have an international experience, through an academic exchange, short stay or a study trip.
CETYS also enjoys various financial support programs, educational credits and a broad scholarship system, it is recognized by the US Federal Government as an institution in which American citizens can pursue a FAFSA academic credit program.
“I decided to come to the CETYS Open House, because the Double Degree offered by CETYS called my attention, knowing that I can study in such a competitive university that will give me the advantages to excel in the workplace and practice my profession in both, Mexico and the United States,” said Daniela Cervantes, Calexico High School student, who attended the event.
CETYS currently offers 19 bachelor’s degrees among which are the areas of Engineering, Management, International Business, Graphic Design, Law and Psychology.
