The Calexico Rotary Club is organizing their annual Crab Crack dinner to raise funds for future projects.
The dinner will take place at the Calexico Community Center located at 707 Dool, Avenue in Calexico, California and date is about to be chosen. A no-host bar will be at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person.
The Crab Crack Dinner has been a tradition held by the Calexico Rotary Club started when they had meetings with Mexicali Rotary clubs at the Community Center but later it was decided to make it an annual event for the community.
The dinner menu includes fresh crab, Cole Slaw, Baked Potato, beans, and bread. Crab is caught, cooked and flown and then stored in the morning one day before the event.
