BAJA CALIFORNIA WILL BE HOSTING A WINE CERTIFICATE

ENSENADA, BC- Tuesday, January 29, 2019.- The State Administration headed by Governor Francisco Vega de Lamadrid, through the State Tourism Secretary (SECTURE), invites the general public to the Wine Certificate that will be taking place at Valle de Guadalupe, with top-level national instructors.

The head of SECTURE, Óscar Escobedo Carignan, commented that the realization of this type of certificate in the State promotes a greater wine culture and achieves a national level projection of Valley of Guadalupe.

He reported that the 120-hour course is organized by the Association of Mexican Sommeliers, A.C., the only organization endorsed by the Association of Sommmellerie Internationale (ASI) and co-founder of the Pan American Sommelier Alliance (APAS); and it will consist of theoretical and practical classes that will be taught on Mondays and Tuesdays at El Cielo de Valle de Guadalupe winery, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. starting on March 11 of this year.

The objective of the course is that participants are able to assimilate the basic procedure around wine, from vine planting to the professional wine service according to the Standards of Specialized Wine Service, said the state official.

Escobedo Carignan invited all the people who want to know more about wine in a more professional way regardless of their previous academic experience, as well as all individuals involved in the production and distribution of wine in the region.
