The Baja California Ministry of Health is waiting for an important shipment of Pfizer vaccine for second dose applications, additionally, it anticipates the arrival this weekend of the Johnson & Johnson doses to start with the population of 18 to 39 years.
The Secretary of State for Health, Alonso Óscar Pérez Rico, commented that as soon as the shipment arrives, they will reactivate the immunization points against Covid to continue with the process in the State.
He specified that only the Ensenada and San Quintín Health Services Jurisdictions are enabled as a vaccination site this Thursday, for older adults and 50 to 59 years in second doses as well as 40 to 49 years.
In the case of pregnant women, the sites are Hospital Materno Infantil in Mexicali, Jurisdiction of Health Services in the Port of Ensenada, and Jurisdiction of Health Services, in San Quintín.
