Mexicali, BC, Thursday, July 14th, 2016. – In order to promote and foster the values in students from their first contact in schools and to create the figure of the driver of values, the legislator Jose Francisco Barraza Chiquete proposed adding Article 14a to the Education Act of Baja California.
He said that the driver of values will have among his main responsibilities, promoting the values of learners, as well as holding meetings on a case by case basis with parents to strengthen family unity, which allows them to get ahead in solving problems of behavioral origin.
Moreover, he added that daily society is informed by the media about various events that threaten social order or directly violate a person’s human rights, which goes from atrocities committed against minors, domestic violence, killings in broad daylight, raping, family violence or neglecting children and the elderly.
