The Baja California Ministry of Tourism, in coordination with authorities from all three levels of government, launched the 2025 Easter Week Holiday Operation, marking the official start of the holiday period and implementing security and assistance measures to ensure the well-being of visitors.
As part of the operation, approximately 942 personnel and 244 units will be deployed across the state at strategic locations to provide assistance and immediate response if needed.
Baja California’s Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, emphasized that, as part of the state’s safe tourism strategies, the agency will conduct monitoring patrols in key tourist areas. Services will be available through six offices, five mobile units, and one information center, operating daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Authorities reminded residents and visitors that free roadside and tourism assistance is available by calling 078 through Ángeles Verdes. Additional support, complaint follow-up, and visitor guidance are available via the Directorate of Tourism Assistance at (664) 624-2020.
Officials also encouraged the public to take advantage of promotions and discounts through the Sé Turista en tu Baja California program, accessible at seturistabc.com, and to visit bajacalifornia.travel for tourism information.
The event was attended by government and military officials, including Baja California’s Secretary-General of Government, Alfredo Álvarez Cárdenas; State Congresswoman Teresita del Niño Jesús Ruíz Mendoza, President of the Tourism and Investment Commission; Colonel Saúl Jaramillo García, Deputy Secretary of Public Security; and Colonel José Guadalupe Gómez Salado of the Second Military Zone, among others.
